Your new role
As the Evidence Generation Lead, you will drive Novo Nordisk UK’s evidence strategy with a particular focus on obesity, ensuring alignment between scientific priorities, market access needs, and patient benefit. You’ll play a central role in shaping local evidence strategies, initiating RWE studies, and building partnerships that reinforce the credibility and impact of our science.
You will:
* Collaborate & develop parts of the UK Evidence Generation Plan (EGP) through cross-functional collaboration and strategic workshops
* Identify and address key evidence gaps across therapy areas with a particular focus on obesity and product life cycles
* Lead and manage Real World Evidence (RWE) studies, registries, pragmatic studies, and ISS projects
* Partner with Global and Regional teams to ensure alignment and best practice in evidence generation
* Create partnerships with agencies, CROs, and data providers to strengthen scientific output
* Ensure compliance with all local and global regulatory requirements and Novo Nordisk’s Business Ethics standards
* Drive internal capability, training teams and disseminating local study insights to strengthen scientific understanding

Your skills & qualifications
You are a scientifically driven professional with a strategic mindset and deep understanding of real-world evidence generation. You combine scientific rigour with project management excellence and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
You bring:
* A degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Life Sciences, or a related discipline
* Proven experience in evidence generation within the pharmaceutical industry (epidemiological, descriptive, and clinical effectiveness data)
* Expertise in study design, RWE, registries, and pragmatic trials
* Strong project management and multi-tasking skills, with a track record of delivering complex studies with integrity and compliance
* Strategic planning and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
* A proactive, curious, and collaborative mindset — with the ability to lead through complexity and deliver ambitious results
