WHAT IS THE ROLE?
At the forefront of our organisation, the role of a Business Development Associate will be to proactively expand business through building relationships with new and existing customers. The post holder will be commercially aware maximizing sales and margin to meet agreed goals and targets, whilst staying abreast of market demands and trends.
Branch opening hours are Mon - Friday Sat and we are flexible to consider a variety of working hours/patterns to suit your needs
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
* Solicit sales from new and existing customers
* Follow up on general phone enquiries, supporting the branch with all aspects of customer service
* To identify and generate sales opportunities for the full range of company products
* Provide realistic quotations to satisfy customer needs
* To negotiate the best possible deals to satisfy both customer and company requirements
* To maintain up to date company records and to use them as an effective selling tool
* Exchange information to maximise selling opportunities, solve problems and make decisions
* Contacting new and existing customers to encourage relationships through product knowledge, advice & trust
* Timely response to customer enquiries, resolving any potential issues and upselling were possible
* Process transactions and orders in a speedy, efficient and friendly manner
* Accurate stock ordering to fulfil customer orders
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
* Willing and able to work in both a field and office based sales capacity
* Full clean driving licence
* A passion for delivering customer service excellence
* Competent in the use of IT (Outlook, CRM, Excel etc)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, face to face, on the phone etc
* Confident working under pressure
* Ability to manage and prioritise own workload
