Are you an experienced Design Engineer with electrical design and mechanical design skills? Do you have experience producing high-quality CAD drawings to highly regulated industry standards? Your background as a Systems Design Engineer: HND/HNC, apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification 5 years experience in electrical / systems design. Ideally some exposure and understanding of mechanical / electromechanical design. Knowledge of BS7671, BS8888:2017 and EU directives would be advantageous. Proficient in AutoCAD; Electrical CAD software (e.g. SEE Electrical/ETAP). Able to produce accurate 2D/3D drawings, including STEP files Eligible for, or able to achieve, SC Security Clearance Systems Design Engineer responsibilities: Produce electrical and occasionally mechanical drawings to support projects and manufacturing. Develop design concepts from first principles, ensuring compliance with robust industry standards.
