Role: Part Time Receptionist

Part time: 23 hours/ week
Shifts: Between 0700 and 1900 Monday-Friday with weekends required on rotation

We have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Receptionist to join The Wellington Hospital where you will be part of the Front of House Team. You will be the first point of contact for all Patients, Consultants and Visitors.
This role is vital in providing a world class service to anyone entering the hospital.

What you'll do:
1. Meeting and greet patients and visitors
2. To direct in a pleasant manner all visitors, staff and doctors to the correct departments
3. Co-ordinate deliveries and couriers, and the logging of deliveries/post
4. Coordinate/Communicate with the Shuttle service
5. Booking taxis/e-Couriers for patients and stakeholders
6. Control of car park out of hours
7. To provide a pleasant and efficient telephone service for patients, doctors, visitors, staff and any other callers
8. To operate the switchboard efficiently out of hours, providing a prompt and courteous service
9. Active part in Emergency response team and be knowledgeable with emergency processes. Conduct weekly audits; Cardiac Arrest, Major Haemorrhage, Fire, Panic Alarm and other Security Incidents
10. Ensure the lobby area is clean and tidy
What you'll bring:
11. Previous Receptionist experience is essential within a 5* establishment or private healthcare
12. Excellent communication skills
13. Computer literate
14. Work well under pressure
