n exciting on-going opportunity has become available for 1x Shovel Drivers to work with our client, who is a Cardboard and Waste Paper Recycling specialist based in Sandycroft CH5 on a temporary basis.
As a Shovel Driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading of waste materials in the yards area
Pay & Hours
* £14.00 per hour
* Monday to Friday working static days OR nights
* 8-12 hour shifts - Flexibility required
* Weekend work also available
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Loading and unloading of waste materials in the yards area and work as part of a team.
* Operating a bale clamp truck and telehandler loading shovel.
* Operating the baling press.
* Operation of fixed and mobile plant according to the training given, and within site rules.
* Loading and unloading shipping containers
* Monitoring other personnel working at or visiting the depot and to ensure that they are complying with site rules, and to promptly report breaches.
* General housekeeping and maintenance
Requirements
* Experience in the wastepaper/recycling industry
* Previous experience operating a bale clamp truck and telehandler loading shovel
* Candidate’s must have good attitude to work and must demonstrate an excellent time keeping and attendance record
