Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to work on our Cheshire Life Magazine portfolio. Cheshire Life is a vibrant lifestyle magazine offering luxury brands excellent advertising opportunities. The publication has unrivaled coverage, award-winning content, and a passion for the finer things in life. You will play a pivotal role in expanding and overseeing our subscriber base through new business acquisition. If you are a driven sales professional experienced in prospecting and lead generation, we want to hear from you.
Your role involves selling print and digital advertising solutions to existing and prospective clients throughout the Cheshire region. You should excel at building relationships over the phone and face-to-face, understanding client needs, and presenting suitable solutions from our portfolio.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
You will primarily sell our wide portfolio of print advertising solutions, complemented by digital services such as web advertising and video creation. Digital savviness is important, but comprehensive training will be provided on SEO, social media, DPM, display, and programmatic options. You will work remotely on a hybrid basis, equipped with a laptop and phone. Regular client meetings require living within 30 minutes of Cheshire and using your own car.
You will be supported by a manager who provides guidance through calls, training, 1-1s, and team meetings. The team manager is experienced and supportive, ensuring your success.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Media/advertising sales background (preferably)
* Proven B2B client-facing sales experience
* Drive and passion to build a repeat customer base
* Consultative sales approach
* Strong diary management and organizational skills
* Experience in managing and developing new business opportunities
* Determination to achieve and exceed targets
