What your day could look like
Imagine starting your day reviewing team performance and client priorities, before heading out to meet a client, scope new work, or support engineers on-site. You’ll be the go-to expert — balancing leadership, technical insight, and commercial awareness.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and supporting a team of Water Hygiene Engineers
* Acting as the main technical point of contact for clients and engineers
* Managing service delivery across in-house teams and subcontractors
* Overseeing compliance, risk assessments, sampling, and maintenance programmes
* Reviewing reports, quotes, specifications, and team outputs
* Driving business growth through client management, upselling, and new opportunities
* Conducting site visits for risk assessments, monitoring, and project scoping
* Ensuring all services meet required standards and deadlines
* Supporting operational systems including CRM, reporting platforms, and scheduling tools
What you’ll bring
You don’t need to tick every single box to succeed here — but We’re looking for someone with:
* Experience in a supervisory or team management role
* A background in water hygiene, legionella control, or a related field
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds Level 2+, BOHS, or equivalent)
* Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays (fully expensed)
* Confidence in client-facing work including sales, quoting, and relationship management

* Salary: Upto £40,000 (with performance-related increases)
* Location: Hybrid (site, home, and office-based)
