Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner in London on a full time permanent basis with major Regulatory body. This Finance Business Partner role is paying up to £55, per annum.
The Finance Business Partner will be providing strong financial acumen, collaborating closely with the Head of Finance and other senior stakeholders to drive plan delivery. Additionally, you will lead finance transformation projects while providing business insight and advice and monitor progress against business plans.
Main Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner:
1. Analyse financial performance across all business areas to pinpoint weaknesses.
2. Offer tailored commercial financial advice to stakeholders, aiding in the achievement of their objectives.
3. Develop and utilise financial models to recommend pricing strategies for products and services, aligning with financial goals.
4. Collaborate with HR to assess resource needs across the business.
5. Foster ongoing engagement with key stakeholders and cultivate a culture of budget confidence among managers.
6. Provide advisory support on commercial contract negotiation, efficiency savings, and best practices.
7. Lead the annual budget-setting process and develop a medium-term financial plan in alignment with strategic objectives.
8. Oversee financial operations, including management reporting, project updates, and finance systems transformation, while promoting team communication and continuous improvement.
Person Specification of the Finance Business Partner:
9. Hold a relevant degree or professional qualification from recognised accountancy bodies (e.g., CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
10. Have experience in business partnering within a similar business, demonstrating stakeholder relationship-building skills.
11. Demonstrate expertise in leading financial planning and analysis for budgeting and forecasting processes.
12. Exhibit an understanding of risks and utilise financial and business intelligence for risk management and mitigation.
13. Possess a curious mindset, capable of identifying and investigating risks, and proposing practical solutions within the business context.
14. Communicate effectively across various stakeholder levels.
15. Perform well under pressure and meet deadlines during peak periods.
16. Display confidence in independent work while also being collaborative and proactive.
