A fast-growing and ambitious online retail business is seeking a Senior Dispatch Operative to ensure our client s premium products are dispatched on time and with care. The Senior Dispatch Operative will have worked in a similar high-paced logistical environment and have a strong work ethic. In addition, you will have a strong eye for detail, good communication skills, and be a team player.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, process & dispatch all customer orders accurately & on time to meet delivery deadlines
* Uphold quality standards, focusing on security, presentation & the condition of every item dispatched
* Liaise with customer service, framing & sales teams to quickly resolve any order or delivery issues
* Push beyond regular hours when needed to ensure urgent orders & high volumes are handled without delays
* Support other departments, such as framing, goods-in as needed dependent on business demands
Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:
* Previous experience working in a similar high-paced logistics environment
* Good communication skills
* Attention to detail, team player, organised and strong work ethic
* Be happy to work out of hours to complete urgent and high-volume orders
Salary: circa £45,000 + benefits
