Field Service Technician role at HYTORC

Responsibilities
* Travel throughout your territory to call on regular and prospective customers to perform repair, maintenance and calibration of tools and equipment.
* Provide technical consultation and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic and manual tools, pumps and equipment.
* Adhere to company processes, procedures, safety standards and schedules with respect to daily activities including scheduled repairs and calibrations.
* Provide required reporting to Service Manager on schedule updates, tasks completed and market information.
* Work with Service Manager and service team members, engineers and customers to meet the growing day-to-day repair requirements.
* Strive to meet goals and key performance indicators as outlined by Service Manager.
* Support territory managers for growth of sales and service opportunities.
* Check safety decals and operating features on tools and maintain accurate maintenance records.
* Assist in familiarizing and training customers on tool operation and maintenance.
* Maintain excellent customer service by conducting daily activities, communications and interactions in a cooperative, positive and professional manner.
* Complete all necessary paperwork for repairs and calibration.
* Maintain accurate inventory records of parts and equipment.
Qualifications
* Mechanical Engineering qualifications at NVQ Level 2 & 3 (or equivalent)
* Minimum of 3 years suitable experience in a similar capacity
* Self‑motivated and driven to succeed
* Proven track record in customer satisfaction
* Excellent technical, communication, organisational and presentation skills
* Clean, valid and full UK driving license
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to lift or move up to 35 kg

Travel throughout the assigned territory to repair and calibrate tools. Full in-house training will be provided at Cramlington head office in Northumberland for a period of 4 weeks.
