Job Summary:
As a Mouldings Apprentice at Honeywell, in Southend, you will gain hands-on experience in our manufacturing processes, focusing on mouldings. This apprenticeship is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes, contributing to the overall success of our operations and the quality of our products.
This role is part of our Early Careers Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. This apprenticeship is set up for four years, starting from August 2026.

Honeywell will provide you with the courses to gain industry recognised manufacturingapprenticeship qualifications alongside a salary, with annual uplifts, and competitive benefits. This apprenticeship is a mixture of academic and practical onsite learning.
You will work closely with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience within a friendly and supportive team to be trained to achieve the following:
1. Assist in the production process of mouldings, (setting, operating and maintenance), tooling and equipment ensuring adherence to quality standards
2. Interpret and create engineering drawings and documentation for electrical products
3. Perform quality inspections
4. Participate in training programs to develop skills in manufacturing operations and supply chain management
5. Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains
Key skills and qualifications:
Please note, we are unable to offer apprenticeships to degree holders.
6. A minimum of GCSE a C / level 4 grade in maths and English
7. Can commute with ease to the Southend office
8. Business level English written and spoken language skills
9. Full and permanent right to work in the UK
10. A passion to pursue a career within the manufacturing of plastic injection mouldings
