Quantity Surveyor Bristol (Regional Commercial Contracting SME)
Salary up to £60,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits
Responsibilities
* Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of projects from pre‑construction through to final account.
* Prepare and manage tenders, bills of quantities, cost estimates, and budgets.
* Carry out cost control, value engineering, risk management, and variation assessment.
* Produce monthly CVR reports, cashflow forecasts, and financial updates for project and senior management.
* Liaise closely with site teams, subcontractors, clients, and designers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Negotiate and agree subcontractor packages, interim valuations, and final accounts.
* Support the commercial team in driving profitability and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
About You
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a main contractor or commercial fit‑out specialist (regional/SME experience highly desirable).
* Strong commercial acumen with a track record of managing projects profitably.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Degree/HND in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) and/or working towards/hold MRICS (advantageous but not essential).
* Full UK driving licence (essential due to site travel in the region).
* Proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to thrive in a growing, supportive SME environment.
