The Governing Body of Southdown Primary School are seeking to appoint a committed, innovative and enthusiastic Leaning Support member of staff to support a Year 2 child with additional learning needs.
The successful candidate should be a strong, nurturing practitioner who supports stimulating learning opportunities. You will be working as part of a team under the guidance of the teaching staff to ensure that the individual child gets the learning and emotional support to ensure that they are happy and ready for learning. The role can occasionally include providing some intimate care.
Please read the job description and person specification carefully and outline in your application the experience and expertise you would bring to this role. Experience and understanding of supporting children with ASD would be desirable.
