Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Door Supervisors to join our team. This role involves monitoring activities, personal searching patrons depending on venue requirements, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients premises, staff, and visitors. The Security team will play a crucial role in safeguarding assets and providing a visible presence to deter potential threats and decrease likely- hood of incidents.
All applicants welcome, however due to the search requirements, extra female staff are required.
Duties
* Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure all areas are secure.
* Screening of patrons as they enter the premises.
* Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
* Good understanding of the licensing act of 2003, with regards to its application to licensed premises, including bars, nightclubs, music and concert venues.
* Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage.
* Provide first aid assistance when necessary and ensure that emergency procedures are followed.
* Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
* Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or emergencies.
* Assist in the training of new security personnel on protocols and procedures.
Experience
* Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
* Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and CCTV operation is advantageous.
* Knowledge of first aid practices is beneficial; certification is a plus.
* Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and visitors.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
