This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment Location: Luton Salary: £26,000 per year, overtime available Contract: 18-month fixed-term (with potential to become permanent) Working Hours: MonFri 8:30-17:00 As a Transport Administrator, you will support the transport team in the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring drivers have the correct paperwork and their workload is updated on tablets. You will manage internal and external enquiries, process returned paperwork, and liaise with various departments including warehouse, customer service, and production. Day-to-day duties for the Transport Administrator include: Dispatching driver runs and preparing paperwork Ensuring PODs are accurate and attached to orders Updating vehicle whereabouts and driver tablets Resolving basic IT/tablet issues for drivers Answering queries from internal teams and customers via phone and email Maintaining spreadsheets, filing, and running reports Supporting continuous improvement initiatives The ideal candidate: Strong written and verbal communication skills Confident with Excel and Word Organised and detail-oriented Professional and approachable, able to engage with colleagues across all departments As a Transport Administrator, you will play a key role in keeping the transport office running efficiently and supporting colleagues across the business.
