As an EYFS teacher, your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated EYFS lessons for children with ASD/SLD.
Supporting children's social, emotional, communication, and academic development.
Monitoring and recording progress, celebrating achievements in both learning and personal growth.
Implementing personalised learning strategies to meet each child's unique needs.
Creating a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment.
Collaborating with colleagues, families, and multi-disciplinary professionals to support each child's development.
Contributing to curriculum planning and enrichment activities within the EYFS department.The Ideal EYFS Teacher Candidate
The successful EYFS teacher will possess:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised early years teaching qualification.
Experience working with children with ASD, SLD, or other special educational needs (highly desirable).
Excellent classroom management skills tailored to individual learning needs.
A deep understanding of early years pedagogy and inclusive teaching strategies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to supporting both academic and social-emotional development.
