We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our friendly Finance team at our Redditch Head Office on a 6-month fixed-term basis to support during a period of parental leave cover.

What you’ll be doing:
Maintaining and reconciling key control accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies
Producing monthly financial reports for management and external stakeholders
Managing the fixed asset register including additions, disposals and depreciation
Carrying out quarterly and annual fixed asset checks
Processing supplier invoices and employee expense claims
Maintaining accurate supplier records on the ERP system
Supporting weekly and monthly payment runs (BACS & Bankline)
Assisting with bank reconciliations and investigating variances
Supporting internal and external audit processes
Working collaboratively with the wider Finance team on day-to-day activities
Supporting with additional ad hoc finance duties when required
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
AAT qualified (or currently studying towards)
Minimum 2 years’ experience within an accounts or finance environment
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
Experience using ERP systems
Knowledge of Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
