The role
You’ll lead a small, experienced legal team while acting as the lead lawyer in either Planning, Property or Commercial contracts. Alongside your own caseload, you will:
* Advise on corporate and governance matters
* Support major projects and development work
* Attend senior meetings and committees
* Mentor and develop junior staff
* Help shape a more resilient, future-ready legal service

* Qualified solicitor (planning, property, or commercial)
* Strong technical grounding and sound judgement
* Interested in stepping into a visible leadership role
* Open to broadening beyond your specialism
* Organised, pragmatic, and collaborative

* Salary of £51,356 – £58,964
