First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking a Lead Fitter for a global leader in today’s top performing industrial pumps and motors sector.
Requirements:
To carry out mechanical fitting activities associated with the overhaul, repair and testing of rotating equipment, predominantly pump assemblies. Knowledge of centrifugal pump overhaul and maintenance is desirable.
Skills Required:
* 5+ years’ experience in working with rotating machinery, primarily pumps and motors.
* 5+ years’ workshop experience in the disassembly, reporting and assembly of rotating machinery.
* Experience working within a workshop environment.
* Experience with PME (precision measuring equipment).
Education:
* Time served craftsperson within a mechanical discipline. Educated to NVQ Level 3 in mechanical maintenance
