Individual Needs Assistant – Primary School (1:1 Autism Support)

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Worthing to recruit an Individual Needs Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with Autism.
The Role:
* Providing consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day
* Supporting learning, communication, and emotional regulation
* Helping the pupil engage positively with classroom activities
* Supporting social interactions and transitions
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to follow individual support plans
The Ideal Candidate:
* Patient, caring, and reliable
* Passionate about supporting children with Autism and additional needs
* Able to build positive and trusting relationships
* Calm and adaptable in a primary school environment
* Previous experience with SEND or Autism is desirable but not essential
