We are seeking a warm and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant with a Level 3 childcare qualification to join a welcoming early years setting, starting October 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to support young children’s development and help create a positive, stimulating learning environment.
Duties as Nursery Assistant:
* Deliver a play-based curriculum that supports the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Provide high-quality care routines, including meals, hygiene, and outdoor play.
* Work closely with the room leader and team to plan, set up and evaluate engaging activities.
* Observe, record and share children’s progress, contributing to individual learning journeys.
* Ensure a safe, clean and inclusive environment, following safeguarding and health & safety policies.
Ideal Nursery Assistant:
* Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
* Experience in a nursery or early years setting is highly desirable.
* A caring, patient and proactive approach, with excellent communication skills as a Nursery Assistant.
* Good understanding of the EYFS framework and commitment to inclusive practice.
