Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across various commercial and industrial projects. Responsibilities
* Design and plan plumbing systems in accordance with project specifications and safety standards
* Install, repair, and maintain plumbing infrastructure using appropriate tools and techniques
* Operate welding equipment, power tools, hand tools, and carpentry tools as required for installation tasks
* Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify faults or potential issues
* Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation or repairs
* Collaborate with other trades such as mechanical or electrical teams to ensure seamless project execution
* Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times during operations
Skills
* Proficiency in welding, with the ability to operate welding equipment safely and effectively
* Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including pipe fitting, soldering, and system troubleshooting
* Experience with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry for installation and repair tasks
* Mechanical knowledge relevant to plumbing components and system integration
* Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical drawings
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a construction environment
* Valid commercial driving licence is desirable for transportation between sites
* Assembly skills for fitting components together accurately and securely
