Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven engineer to join our growing Engineering team.
Main Duties
The main responsibilities for this position include:
1. Performing maintenance and reactive activities on a wide range of Mechanical and Electrical Building services, including but not limited to lighting, building controls, small power and distribution, heating, boilers, pumps, compressed air systems, fan coil units, air handling units, and other equipment in commercial/industrial premises.
2. Collaborating with the local team to ensure the safe operation and repair of all M&E building services, fabric, and equipment on site.
3. Participating in energy-saving schemes and promoting understanding of energy efficiency, working in accordance with business systems to maintain and operate the plant at optimal efficiency.
4. Taking part in a rota providing reactive maintenance outside of operating hours, including weekends or out-of-hours work for tasks that cannot be completed during client operating hours.
Candidate Requirements
We seek a proactive engineer capable of completing tasks promptly and professionally, reporting faults, and taking necessary actions to resolve issues.
You should be comfortable with and possess strong knowledge of H&S issues, able to report and escalate as needed, and responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and site policies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical or City & Guilds 2382-18
* 18th Edition BS7671:2018
* SC clearance is required for this role.
