Solicitor - Private Client (Wills, Probate & Estate Planning) - Cardiff - 1-3 Years PQE
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience)
A thriving, award‑winning law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor with 1‑3 years' post‑qualification experience to join its growing Private Client Department in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload, contribute to business development, and play a key role in expanding the department.
The Role
* Taking instructions and drafting Wills.
* Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney.
* Managing all aspects of probate and estate administration.
* Advising clients with excellent communication and client care skills.
* Drafting legal documents and using case management systems effectively.
* Applying a commercial approach to billing, time‑recording, and reporting.
* Supporting the growth of the department through business development initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
* 1‑3 years PQE in Private Client law.
* Experience handling a large caseload with minimal supervision.
* Strong technical and drafting skills.
* Excellent client care and interpersonal abilities.
* A proactive, can‑do outlook and ability to work collaboratively.
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
