Graduate Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School in St Albans Full-Time | Long-Term | £500–£600 per Week | Monday to Friday Are you a recent graduate eager to kickstart a rewarding career in education? A forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school located in St Albans is currently seeking a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join their pastoral and academic support team. This long-term, full-time position is available for an immediate start or from September 2025. Position: Graduate Learning Support Assistant – St Albans Key Duties: Graduate Learning Support Assistant Provide dedicated 1:1 and small group support to Year 9 students with Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs). Assist teaching staff in delivering tailored learning strategies. Monitor student progress and offer consistent encouragement and guidance. Support students with special educational needs (SEN) in their social, emotional, and academic development. Candidate Profile: Graduate Learning Support Assistant Minimum of a 2:1 degree from a UK university (essential). Passion for working with young people and a strong interest in education, psychology, or youth work. Confident communicator with a compassionate and patient approach. Prior experience working with children or young people is helpful but not required.
