Infrastructure Security Lead – Data Loss Prevention (CISO Function)
£600–£650 per day (Inside IR35)

We are supporting a leading UK digital retail and commercial bank in the appointment of an experienced Infrastructure Security Lead to drive critical Data Loss Prevention (DLP) initiatives within the CISO function.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a senior security professional with strong Symantec DLP expertise, deep experience in regulated Financial Services environments, and the ability to steer complex enterprise upgrades.
The Role
As Infrastructure Security Lead, you will take ownership of the technical delivery of enterprise DLP initiatives, working closely with a dedicated Project Manager and senior CISO stakeholders. You will guide technical design decisions, oversee implementation activities, and provide expert-level troubleshooting across the DLP estate.
This position requires both strategic oversight and hands-on technical capability.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the technical delivery of Symantec DLP upgrades and enhancements
* Own, review and approve Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
* Provide hands-on troubleshooting and remediation across the DLP estate
* Develop PowerShell automation scripts to improve operational efficiency
* Support enterprise toolset and application rollouts
* Drive and steer technical discussions across infrastructure and security teams
* Ensure all delivery aligns with CISO governance frameworks and security standards
Essential Experience
* Proven banking sector experience
* Strong hands-on Symantec DLP implementation expertise
* Experience delivering enterprise upgrades and migrations
* Advanced PowerShell scripting capability
* Track record of working within regulated Financial Services environments
* Demonstrated ability to lead technical workstreams and coordinate cross-functional teams
* Knowledge of Netskope
Desirable Experience
* Prior experience operating within a CISO tower
* Exposure to technical project management
* Broader security tooling implementation background
