About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Meter Services Supervisor – Plumbing to join our team at Bridgewater. Reporting to the Operations / Contracts Manager, this dynamic, hands on role will see you actively leading our statewide plumbing operations and working on the tools alongside your team, where needed. This role requires a strong leader who can balance customer service, team leadership, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate plumbing activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
* Support the Operations / Contracts Manager in delivering the contract scope of works.
* Ensure all induction requirements are completed before fieldwork commences.
* Providing technical guidance and support to the team.
* Conducting regular site inspections and quality checks.
* Determine work programmes, ensuring that programming of work is in the right order at the right time.
* Communicate all contractual requirements, such as incidents, within specified timeframes.
* Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
Key Requirements
* A trade certification or diploma in Plumbing & current occupational plumbing licence.
* Previous experience managing a team, preferably in a utility trade environment.
* Construction Industry Safety Card (White/Blue Card).
* Strong leadership and decision‑making skills.
* Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
* Detailed experience and understanding of metering practices, processes, and procedures within the plumbing industry.
* Excellent problem‑solving abilities and detail orientation.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
