HR Business Partner– Luton, Bedfordshire. The HR Business Partner position is in Luton and reports to the Head of HR. This role is diverse and hands-on, providing support across various areas including recruitment, employee engagement, labour relations, internal communications, compensation and benefits, employee wellbeing, and training. The HR Business Partner plays a crucial role in implementing organisational development initiatives that promote the company’s culture. Additionally, it ensures that HR policies and procedures are properly governed and aligned with business objectives. Key responsibilities: Develop and implement HR policies, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices. Lead apprenticeship and early careers programs, including outreach and support. Coordinate recruitment, manage assessment processes, and communicate with candidates/agencies. Support organisational change and consultation processes. Act as a trusted advisor on HR matters to employees and managers. Manage HR administration and documentation per company policies. Assist with payroll in collaboration with Finance. Collaborate with line managers to provide proactive HR support. Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion. Analyse training needs and aid development initiatives. Maintain HR metrics and support KPIs. Liaise with Trade Union representatives. Contribute to continuous improvement and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures. Requirements: CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) or equivalent experience. Generalist HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong understanding of UK employment legislation. Proven experience in employee relations. Interest in apprenticeships and early careers. Ability to support organisational change.
