Senior Locally Employed Doctor in Anaesthesia
Join to apply for the Senior Locally Employed Doctor in Anaesthesia role at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.
Applications are invited for full‑time (48 hours/week) clinical fellows to rotate across the anaesthetic specialties. Previous clinical fellows have used the experience and competencies gained in this post to support their CESR application through the CESR / Article 14 application process and gain entry to the GMC’s Specialist Register.
The successful candidates will join a large consultant‑led medical workforce with 98 consultants and 57 doctors in training across MRI, St Mary’s, REH and Trafford Hospitals. The post incorporates a 6‑month rotation at North Manchester General Hospital. We provide secondary and tertiary care in many surgical specialties including vascular, pancreatic/renal transplantation, major head and neck, upper GI surgery and gynae‑oncology, and provide anaesthesia to the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital.
