JOB SUMMARY As the Host/Hostess (fixed-term) in our Straits Kitchen & Bar Restaurant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional, personalised experiences for every guest. You will be a true ambassador of Pan Pacific London, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence. Your responsibilities as the Host/Hostess (fixed-term) will include, but are not limited to: · Maintain complete knowledge of all food items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available in the restaurant. · Maintain complete knowledge of all wine/champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list. · Communicate reservation or cancellation changes to the management as they arise throughout the shift. · Anticipate guest’s needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests. · Be familiar with all the operation services/features and local attractions/activities to respond accurately to any guest inquiry. · Inspect all aspects of the restaurant environment ensuring compliance with standards of cleanliness and order.
