A successful family:owned building company specialising in insurance repairs is looking for a Painter and Decorator due to an increase in volume of work through long term clients. Based at the Hull office, you will work to a very high standard, working within domestic properties from painting of ceilings to full decorations to full properties.
This is a full:time role, working 40 hours per week. You will receive a salary of GBP 32,800 per annum, overtime at time and a half, a pension scheme, and a company van.
What You'll Be Doing As Painter And Decorator
You be responsible for completing primarily domestic insurance repair works as per the job card instructions. You will complete works to a high standard efficiently, maintaining health and safety on site, liaising with other trades and customer satisfaction.
Duties Are Varied And Will Include Multiple Sites
: Wallpaper hanging
: All aspects of painting and decorating
: External painting
: Preparing site for safe working
: Stripping out properties in preparation for building works
: Assisting other trades to complete works as required
What We're Looking For In a Painter And Decorator
Experience of insurance re:instatement would be an advantage. Demonstrable proven track record in a similar role working in occupied domestic environment. Insurance related background would be a great advantage. Tradesmen must be qualified suitable to the trade.
Requirements
: Experience in all aspects of painting and decorating
: Experience of hanging wallcoverings
: Minimum qualification of NVQ 2 or qualified by experience.
: Minimum qualification of NVQ 2 or qualified by experience.
: Willingness to undergo a DBS check
: Full valid driving license
: You must be professional, be able to self:manage and ensure customer satisfaction. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work as a team and excellent communication skills. Additional skillsets such as bricklaying would be an advantage but not essential.
