We seek an enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join our Early Intervention in Psychosis Service, starting as Band 7 or 8a depending on experience. The PIER Team (Psychosis Intervention and Early Recovery) supports individuals aged 14-64 experiencing a first episode of Psychosis.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to minimizing the impact of Psychosis on individuals and their families. Based at the Merlyn Vaz Centre (LE5 3GH), you will travel countywide to see clients and their families in their homes and communities.
You will collaborate closely with other psychologists and therapists, with support for professional development. The service values psychological perspectives and input, with training and ongoing development prioritized.
The PIER team is part of a psychology-led, trauma-informed Psychosis Pathway within the Trust. You will join a network of experienced psychologists committed to promoting a non-pathologizing understanding of distress, reducing stigma, and fostering empowerment and social inclusion.
There are senior psychologists in strategic positions leading our transformation process. This is an exciting time to join us as services become more trauma-focused and formulation-driven.

Main duties and responsibilities:
* Receive clinical supervision and line management from the Lead Psychologist.
* Manage a caseload and deliver evidence-based psychological interventions for Psychosis and co-morbid issues.
* Ensure supervision and governance systems support clinical practice.
* Provide supervision, training, consultancy, and support to MDT colleagues.
* Contribute to high-quality, responsive psychological therapies and shape the Psychosis Pathway.
* Support research, audit, and evaluation within PIER.
* Supervise trainees and contribute to teaching.

Qualifications (Essential):
* Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent, including models of Psychopathology, Psychometrics, Neuropsychology, multiple Therapies, and Lifespan Developmental Psychology, accredited by BPS/HCPC.
Experience (Essential):
* Skills in complex psychological assessment, intervention, and risk management.
* Effective communication skills, oral and written.
* Experience working with diverse client groups across the lifespan.
* For 8a post only - Practical application of skills with at least 50 hours of clinical supervision as a Specialist Clinical Psychologist or equivalent.
