<div><h3>Theatre Practitioner – Hampshire Orthopaedic Centre</h3><p>Join our dynamic theatre team at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester, as a Theatre Practitioner on the scrub team.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Participate in a scrubbed/circulating role as required, ensuring safe patient care during surgery.</li><li>Deliver high‑standard professional peri‑operative care based on evidence and best practice.</li><li>Plan, implement and evaluate appropriate patient‑focused care and treatment in line with agreed peri‑operative guidelines and protocols.</li><li>Work in partnership with the multidisciplinary team.</li><li>Act as the patient’s advocate during surgical intervention.</li><li>Seek further development of clinical skills in line with service requirements and demonstrate competency.</li><li>Demonstrate a developing knowledge base in the peri‑operative speciality.</li><li>Prepare and assemble instrumentation/equipment required for a peri‑operative session, seeking advice where necessary.</li><li>Ensure cleaning and preparation of equipment and surgical areas complies with departmental policies and procedures.</li><li>Follow Trust policies and procedures, paying particular attention to Health and Safety, COSHH regulations and Infection Control.</li></ul><h3>Contact</h3><p>Linny Nino – Theatre Team Lead<br/>Martha Knapman, Clinical Matron<br/>Email: martha.knapman@hhft.nhs.uk<br/>Phone: 01962 824836</p></div>
