Basic Salary:
FTE: £23,619.35
Pro-rata: £14,171.61
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday), 08:30 - 16:30
Contract: Term Time Only

About Our School
Nestled in the beautiful Glengorse Estate in Battle, East Sussex, ISP School is dedicated to providing specialist education for 7-18 year-olds facing social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), as well as communication and learning needs.

Role Responsibilities
* Champion the safeguarding and welfare of all children, staff, families, and visitors.
* Initiate and promote initiatives that enhance the quality of life and wellbeing for our children and the school community.

Key Tasks and Activities
* Communicate effectively with ISP School staff and professionals from local authorities.
* Engage with parents and carers via phone, text, and email.
* Welcome visitors, maintenance personnel, and guests to the school.
* Manage school correspondence, emails, and phone calls.
* Organize and attend meetings, taking minutes as required.
* Produce minutes for network meetings, staff briefings, and inclusion meetings.
* Assist the Head and School Administrator with budget management.
* Support the School Administrator in managing petty cash.
* Maintain school documents using BehaviourWatch.
* Contribute to the school mission by executing additional tasks as directed by the Head Teacher.
Requirements
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
* Strong organizational skills with a systematic approach to workload management.
* Effective time management, planning, and prioritization skills.
* Experience in developing systems and processes.
* Understanding of management information systems is a plus.
* Ability to work within allocated budgets and monitor expenditures.
* Familiarity with relevant policies, codes of practice, and legislation.
* Ability to relate well to both children and adults.
* Collaborative team player who understands school roles and responsibilities.
* Commitment to confidentiality.
* Ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative.
