Role: Senior Health & Safety Consultant
Location: London or Kent office – projects across the region

Carriera has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Senior Health & Safety Consultant to join a medium sized property & construction consultancy based out of our clients London or Kent office. Due to business growth and a number of project wins they are now in a position to hire an experienced H&S professional.
This is a unique opportunity where you will join an established multi-disciplinary consultancy of construction professionals which offer building surveying, project management, cost management, civil engineering, and H&S services.
Our client works with a diverse clientele across the residential, education, healthcare, commercial, and retail sectors. This position would suit an independent H&S professional with excellent knowledge of CDM regulations and experience of working in a consultancy setting or client facing role.
Responsibilities:
* Offer a variety of health & safety services to a diverse client base.
* Develop the H&S service offering for clients across London/ South East.
* Liaise closely with members of the H&S, surveying, and project management teams.
* Manage the H&S file from project start through to completion.
* Review construction phase plans.
* Maintain pre construction information packs for clients.
* Attend design team and client meetings and offer input on design risk.
* Provide a CDM Advisor service to clients.
* Carry out site safety inspections, investigations, and site safety audits.
* Build new and existing client relationships.
Requirements:
* NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.
* Professional membership to IOSH and APS (desirable).
* Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience of 2015 CDM Regulations.
* Able to work independently and on one’s own initiative.
* Have worked in the property & construction sector for the last 2 years in a H&S capacity.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
