We are recruiting a dedicated Site Supervisor to support a welcoming primary school starting this April. As the primary "key holder," you will take pride in maintaining a safe, secure, and thriving environment for pupils and staff. This role is perfect for a proactive individual who enjoys a hands-on, varied working day within a community setting. Key Responsibilities: Site Security & Maintenance Your role is essential to the smooth running of the school day. Duties include: Site Security: Opening the school promptly at 07:30 and conducting a comprehensive, secure lock-up each evening by 18:00. Health & Safety: Executing regular compliance checks, completing safety reports, and overseeing general grounds maintenance. Seasonal Care: Ensuring all paths and outdoor areas are safe and clear for staff and pupils, managing site safety in all weather conditions. Logistics & Supplies: Supervising food and milk deliveries, managing water fountain setups, and monitoring inventory for cleaning materials. Team Coordination: Working closely with the cleaning team and tackling minor repairs and maintenance tasks as they arise. Requirements & Skills Experience: A solid background as a School Caretaker, Site Supervisor, or in general facilities management is essential. Reliability: As a designated key holder, punctuality and high levels of responsibility are non-negotiable. Practical Ability: A "can-do" approach to minor repairs and a firm grasp of current Health & Safety (H&S) regulations. Communication: A professional and friendly manner when interacting with school staff, pupils, and visitors. Compliance: An enhanced DBS check is required.
