Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Resource Base (SEND) Location: Birmingham, B6 Contract Type: Full-Time Salary: £100 - £115 Start Date: ASAP Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a skilled and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the dedicated Resource Base team at a primary school in the B6 area of Birmingham. This full-time role is ideal for someone with proven experience in a resource base or SEND school setting, who is passionate about supporting children with complex needs. Key Responsibilities: Support small groups and individual pupils with a range of SEND, delivering tailored learning activities and interventions. Assist in planning and delivering lessons under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO. Lead whole class sessions when required, ensuring continuity and high-quality learning. Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that promotes independence and emotional wellbeing. Monitor pupil progress and contribute to planning and review meetings. Requirements: HLTA qualification or equivalent. Previous experience working in a resource base or SEND school is essential. Strong understanding of SEND strategies and inclusive practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage behaviour effectively and support diverse learning needs.
