We are seeking a skilled Extruder Operator with proven extrusion experience to step into a key role within their busy production department.

Monday–Thursday: 8.00am – 4.30pm
Friday: 8.00am – 1.00pm

About the Role
The successful candidate will support the efficient running of the extrusion lines, ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved. This is a hands-on role within a busy team where attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.
Key Responsibilities
4. Operate in line with company Health & Safety and GMP standards at all times.
5. Prepare and set up extrusion machinery to meet product quality requirements.
6. Carry out changeovers, recording all machine settings, materials used, batch details and any observations during production.
7. Monitor the extrusion process throughout each run, checking for defects or deviations and adjusting equipment where needed.
8. Troubleshoot issues promptly to maintain product consistency and minimise downtime.
9. Complete all relevant documentation including run sheets, inspection results, time sheets and material logs.
10. Perform routine servicing such as die preparation, filter changes, water changes and general cleaning of equipment.
11. Support housekeeping and organisation of the line, following the 5S system.
12. Granulate materials where required and record associated batch information.
13. Safely store completed sleeves/products as directed by the Logistics team and update location logs accurately.
14. Work efficiently to help the team achieve weekly production schedules and service level targets
