About the Role
To support the industrialization and ongoing demo car improvements, our customer is expanding their in-house audio engineering capabilities. This role will play a key part in product design, system development, testing, and validation for next-generation automotive audio technologies.
The Audio Systems Engineer will work across vehicle platforms, performing both hands-on engineering and validation activities to ensure high-quality acoustic performance and robust system functionality.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Systems Development & Feature Integration:
* Conduct vehicle-level audio system measurements and evaluations.
* Support system development, introduction of new features, and execution of demos.
* Integrate and assess new audio technologies for future vehicle platforms.
* Continuously improve current technologies while contributing innovative ideas to the product portfolio.
Component & Panel Testing:
* Perform electrical testing and validation of automotive audio components and panels.
* Execute tests in anechoic chambers or bench environments to verify system and component performance.
* Ensure that all validation activities meet project delivery requirements and engineering standards.
Required Skills & Experience
Electroacoustic & Audio Engineering
* Hands-on experience with electroacoustic measurement tools (e.g., HEAD Acoustics, Audio Precision, SoundCheck).
* 3+ years of experience in an audio engineering or acoustic measurement role.
* Strong ability to identify root causes, troubleshoot issues, and drive process improvements.
Mechanical & Electrical Integration
* Experience integrating acoustic components.
* Understanding of loudspeaker design, circuitry, and product-level specifications.
* Proficiency with bench testing and electrical debugging tools (oscilloscopes, voltmeters, etc.).
* Knowledge of audio amplifiers and automotive audio electronics.
In-Vehicle Testing & Validation
* Experience conducting in-vehicle audio measurements, system evaluations, and performance tuning.
* Ability to interpret test data, create structured reports, and communicate results to engineering and project stakeholders.
