The Role
As Quantity / Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day commercial management of construction projects, working closely with site and project teams to ensure cost control and commercial compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and managing cost plans, budgets, and forecasts.
* Measurement, valuations, and preparation of applications for payment.
* Managing variations, change control, and final accounts.
* Procurement and commercial management of subcontractor packages.
* Supporting commercial reporting and maintaining cost control on live projects.
About You
* Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor.
* Strong understanding of commercial management and contract administration.
* Experience across building projects (commercial, residential, or industrial).
* Strong IT and reporting skills; estimating software experience beneficial.
* Confident communicator able to work effectively with site teams and subcontractors.
