Technical Services Facilities Manager
Location: Sharnbrook, MK44 1LQ
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:45

As a Technical Services Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 5 staff to drive technical excellence at Colworth Park, ensuring SHE policies are rigorously enforced with comprehensive technical reports.
You will liaise with the client to understand their needs, own and deliver larger/technically complex projects, and drive energy management as a key part of this role. Additionally, you will deliver monthly financial reports.
This is a key role where you will ensure a high-performing team that meets client expectations, ensuring PPM and reactive maintenance are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with legislative requirements. Travel to site may be required when on standby or call out, so own transport is essential.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Strong electrical qualifications (C&G or equivalent)
* AP2 Electrical systems competent person
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Client delivery mindset focused on excellence and efficiency
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
* Experience with CAFM systems (desirable)
* Experience in commercial HVAC
* Strong people management skills
* Sound understanding of SHE legislation
* Intermediate knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Desirable Experience
* Experience with BMS platforms (preferably Trend)
* Experience with Lenel Security Systems
* Degree or other qualification in engineering or building services
You will have experience gained in a similar demanding, fast-paced environment. The role involves working 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility for standby/call-out duties (1 in 5 weeks).
