Learning Support Assistant (SEMH / Behaviour Focus) – SEND Schools – Croydon Are you passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking a committed and resilient Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in specialist SEND schools across Croydon. The Role: Supporting students with SEMH, behavioural challenges, and additional learning needs. Working 1:1 and in small groups to provide targeted support. Promoting positive behaviour and helping students develop coping strategies. Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons. Acting as a positive role model and providing emotional and pastoral support.Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, challenging behaviour or SEND. Calm, resilient and patient approach with strong behaviour management skills. Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students. A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).Benefits: Competitive daily rate: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience).
