A clear, accurate, and thoughtful communication style as well as mindset is necessary.Key Responsibilities & Tasks:Partner with various trading desks, technology colleagues and support functions to understand, clarify and document accurate and concise business requirements.Quickly understand key risks and constraints impacting new requirements and take steps to address theseBe the point of contact for technical teams and business alike – refining and adapting as requiredGain a deep understanding of the Jefferies’ specific flows and processes – and be able to explain these to multiple stakeholders at all levels of seniorityTracking issues and concerns, and regular reporting to senior managementLiaising with test teams to conduct effective system and UAT testing, on occasions getting involved in the testing to expedite the most critical initiatives.Qualifications/ Experience:Knowledge and experience in Off-exchange Equity-related products: Stock Loan/Stock Lending, Equity Swaps, Convertible Bonds as well as over the counter derivatives.An understanding of market structures, venues and the differences between venuesFamiliarity with the allocation process, different methods, tools, requirements and the pitfallsAwareness of the regulatory constraints under which we operate – e.g. MiFID II, Brexit, Surveillance etc…Experience with FIX protocol and message typesBasic database query (SQL) experienceExperience with Excel VBA/Bloomberg API an advantageAdditional Skills:Excellent communication skills – this is a front office and client facing role.Must be able to perform well under pressure and deliver to tight deadlinesAble to take different communication styles and elicit the key requirements into business and technical requirement documents.Proven experience working on several initiatives simultaneouslyA natural problem solver with good diagnostics skillsA committed team player, experience working with remote teams an advantage.Strong desire to learn and apply learnt knowledge / skillsService-orientedFamiliarity with software PM tools such as JIRAAbout UsJefferies Financial Group Inc.
