Looking to build a career in surveying with a specialist focus in leasehold valuation and enfranchisement?
We’re working with a leading Chartered Surveyors practice seeking a Trainee Surveyor to join their Valuation & Survey team. This is a structured RICS pathway role offering exposure to residential valuations, lease extensions, and freehold acquisition work.
The Role
You will support experienced surveyors in specialist valuation work including:
* Lease extension and freehold acquisition valuations
* Researching comparable evidence and reviewing lease terms
* Assisting with statutory valuation calculations
* Contributing to valuation reports and client advice
* Liaising with solicitors and clients during cases
* Supporting negotiations where appropriate
* Attending site inspections and property assessments
You’ll develop a strong understanding of leasehold law, valuation methodology, and enfranchisement procedures.
About You
Our client is open to applicants from a range of backgrounds who are looking to build a career in surveying and develop within a structured professional pathway.
You may be:
* Working toward or eligible for an RICS pathway (degree, apprenticeship, SAVA or industry experience)
* Interested in property, law, or analytical/technical work
* Keen to develop your knowledge and progress professionally
* Comfortable communicating with clients and working as part of a team
* A full UK driving licence is required.
