An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our established multidisciplinary team within the General Adult Community Mental Health Service in South Angus.
This rewarding role supports adults who are experiencing complex mental health problems that impact, their daily functioning, independence, and participation in meaningful activities.
The HCPC registered post holder will provide occupational therapy specialist assessment and evidence‑based interventions to enable individuals to maximise personal occupational performance within their homes and communities. You will work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals and care givers, using occupation‑centred practice to promote wellbeing, empowerment, and recovery.
We are looking for a compassionate person with a genuine interest in mental health and wellbeing. Our occupational therapists use occupation as the foundation of our collaborative practice with people bringing structure and purpose to their lives. Our interventions are based on current evidence and are regularly evaluated. We use individual and group work opportunities to support person centred goal achievement.
Our Service provides excellent formal and informal supervision, actively supporting individual development through performance development review using the TURAS Appraisal system. We encourage opportunities for CPD and innovative practice.
