Computer Science Teacher - Secondary School (Southampton)

Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, informative lessons that spark curiosity and promote digital literacy
* Stretch and challenge learners of all abilities, fostering computational thinking and problem-solving skills
* Build strong relationships with pupils and support staff to create a collaborative learning environment
* Manage classroom behaviour in a consistent, positive manner
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils
* Use varied assessment methods to monitor progress and inform future planning
* Display high levels of enthusiasm, energy, and professionalism in the classroom
* Work effectively with Teaching Assistants and colleagues to ensure students receive the best possible educational experience

Pay, Hours and Contract
Pay: £145-£200 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: 08:30-16:00
Contract: Full-time, Ongoing
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Southampton
Experience/Qualifications and Requirements
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level in the UK
* Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
* Experience in planning, delivering, and assessing lessons
* Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with students and staff
* A genuine passion for technology and education
* Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service preferred, but not essential)
