Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
Location: On-site, with some hybrid working available
Salary: £24,200
The Role: This is a key role within our quality team:
Sampling and inspection of raw ingredients and finished products
Performing internal physicochemical testing (FTIR, moisture, density, etc.) of products
Manufacturing and testing environment testing (micro, allergens, etc.)
Preparing samples to be sent to external labs and cooperation with external labs
Provide technical support where possible
Assessing results and releasing products basing on test results
Performing results investigations
Supporting the supplier & product approval process
Maintaining sampling area and lab clean and tidy
Operational compliance and internal auditing where possible
Creating instructions, forms and maintenance of Quality Manual
Awareness of legislation and regulatory requirements
Creating COA's and other relevant quality documents
Support of site audits where required
Compliance with sire Health and Safety requirements
The requirements: To be successful in this role, you will have these essential skills and attributes:
IT literate with proficiency in key Microsoft packages
Exceptional analytical skills
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Outstanding attention to detail
