Student Recruitment Support Officer - Birmingham

The role's purpose is to support the development of the Student Referral programme, assist at events by providing support, encouragement, and advice to students and prospective students. A key part of the role involves assisting applicants with student finance applications.
The job includes student recruitment, administrative tasks, delivering presentations, organizing student events, and liaising with the Finance team to clear invoices.
Main Responsibilities
* Support the Student Recruitment team with administrative tasks.
* Assist students in applying for their student referral awards and coordinate with the finance team.
* Follow up on new student referrals, guiding applicants through the application and student finance processes to improve conversion rates.
* Support the wider marketing, communications, and recruitment teams, identifying opportunities for performance improvements.
* Represent GBS professionally, embodying GBS core values in all duties.
* Promote equality and diversity practices and ensure equal opportunities.
* Adhere to all relevant GBS policies.
* Perform other duties as reasonably requested.
Requirements
* Minimum education: Sixth form or equivalent.
* Experience in higher education sales and student finance administration.
* Highly motivated, proactive, with strong initiative.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, able to influence at all levels.
* Focused on delivery and meeting deadlines.
* Commercial awareness, seeking to optimize value.
* Dedicated to equality and diversity.
Other Information
* Occasional evening or weekend work may be required during operational peaks.
* Participate in staff development activities as appropriate.
* Follow health and safety policies and procedures.
