Senior Data Analyst (CRM) – FTC

Location: London, England, United Kingdom

Employment type: Fixed Term Contract – 6 months (Hybrid – 3 days in office / 2 days remote)

Your Role

In the Data Analytics team you will ensure both the voice of the customer and CFO are represented in the room with hard evidence. You will support exceptional customer experiences using data and help ensure every action we take directly improves performance against our clients’ objectives. Working under supervision, you deliver projects within set deadlines, leveraging your strong analytical capabilities in Python and SQL. Your experience with CRM tools (Adobe, SFMC), web analytics tools (GA) and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) will allow you to uncover key insights across channels and create self‑service dashboards.


Responsibilities

* Follow the direction of your line manager and manage upwards when needed.
* Understand clients’ objectives, their business and KPIs and drive transformation through data.
* Deliver and understand the role of the work briefed to you, challenge the briefs and ambition of the work.
* Build relationships with analysts client side and support the creation of best‑in‑class, statistically significant measurement and reporting.
* Collaborate in a results‑driven, test‑learn‑optimisation culture for the client, communicating analytical outputs and ensuring deliverables are completed on time.
* Follow robust, scalable and efficient processes for delivery.
* Be aware of new business pitches and participate in thought pieces, case studies and award entries.
* Understand our network and other players within it.
* Focus on constant evolution – show a desire to learn and develop core analytical skills, understand strengths and weaknesses and train accordingly.


Skills & Experience

* Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative subject (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics) or Social Sciences, with heavy emphasis on quantitative methods; Master’s or PhD is a plus. Degree not required with appropriate work experience.
* 1–2 years relevant experience in marketing analytics, customer experience insights, performance optimization, ideally in a marketing agency or management consulting practice.
* 1 year experience working on CRM analytics.
* Proficiency in analytical languages and software (Excel, SQL, Python, Alteryx).
* Knowledge of statistics, data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker), web and social analytics (GA, Adobe, Brandwatch, Sprinklr).
* Understanding of value engineering, business casing, performance measurement frameworks, GDPR and data protection.
* Experience with customer journey analysis, brief planning, progressive data capture, segmentation and modelling.
* Knowledge of experimental and multivariate test design techniques.
* Growing knowledge of first‑, second‑ and third‑party data, and martech design and ecosystem tracking (tagging and taxonomy).
* Confident, conscientious, self‑starter with a good work ethic, capable of building strong relationships with clients and team members.
* Naturally curious, imaginative, practical problem‑solving skills, and ability to work independently or with a team in an agile, fast environment.
* Ability to develop, learn, follow and adapt repeatable processes or products to drive efficiency and consistency of delivery.
