A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Installation Assessor & Lecturer to join a respected and growing education provider in Northampton. This is an exciting dual-role position combining classroom delivery with workplace assessment, ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on industry engagement and teaching.
You’ll play a key role in developing apprentices and learners, helping them build the practical skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to thrive within the electrical industry.
The Role
This varied position will involve:
* Delivering engaging Electrical Installation lessons to learners and apprentices
* Assessing students in both practical and workplace environments
* Supporting learner progress, achievement, and completion
* Conducting reviews, observations, and portfolio assessments
* Working closely with employers and industry partners
* Maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment
What We're Looking For
* Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
* A1 Assessor Award, TAQA, or equivalent assessing qualification
* Strong Electrical Installation background (commercial/domestic/industrial)
* Previous assessing or teaching experience desirable
* Industry experience is essential
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
